The confession
“Life, that is all you care about now… you have come before me so that I could save you from killing yourselves. The reason that I have formed a body for me from the molecules in the air around you so you could just feel like seeing me is a mere example of what this universe is capable of.
But what are the chances of a single proton decaying into nothingness? Can such an event even be possible on its own? Hence what are the chances that few atoms clump together to form self-replicating molecules such as DNA, the very core of your own existence? If you think those are extremely rare events in the universe given the time scale you could be able to observe them… I wouldn’t really be upset about it if you would think that way. After all, you are still yet to formulate a unified field theory, and yet you are on the verge of extinction and the irony is that the reason for the extinction of your species is yourselves.
Time is not a relevant concept for me. It never moves with me, for I am above and beyond it. I just have to pretend that time exists so that you could see and hear me as I sit next to you. It is just like a leaf caught up in a torrent of water. I just let it flow so that I could be here right now talking to you. But beyond that when I lose this form, neither time nor space has any meaning. Therefore, I have no interest in altering them. Or, should I say, the universe has no interest in altering them in any way, after all, time and space themselves are mere anomalies of the consequence of existence. But the term ‘existence’ itself has no meaning beyond space and time for you. Sadly, that you cannot conceive the whole picture as it is not within the capability of the ‘living’.
If you want to scale me within your space and time, I could say, I have seen and keep seeing protons decaying into pure energy that is then observed one by one to form another cycle of the universe, and if you put that into a time scale, creation of self-replicating molecules like DNA and maturing itself into some sort of ‘intelligent’ being are more than too often or you could think like more than too common.
You might wonder why I am here? It is not my intention to give you what you ask for. I am not the God that you are seeking for salvation. You see, there is no such thing as mercy or miracle; the only things that matter in this universe you live in are actions and consequences since the base anomalies of this universe are space and time. You are bound by your actions and the consequences. Whatever happened could not have happened in any other way. Then it could have happened because of the actions that triggered them. So your salvation is out of luck unless any other actions that have already happened have some consequences that lead to the salvation you seek.
But I am the scientist who created you and infinitely others in this universe alone as a cause of an accident – like I said before, that it was an anomaly in the process. Funny thing to watch, though. If you want to put it in your terms, you are like bacteria. No, not like bacteria, even less if you ask me, in terms of consciousness and knowledge, again in your terms – both have no meaning for me or for my kind. Then you might ask why I am telling you all these things? Well haven’t you ever talked alone in your life, just you and yourself only in the process? It is something like that. I wanted to spend some time alone, so I just randomly sprang into this universe. Well, that random place and time I chose happened to be the earth and a seat next to you. As I told you before, life is infinite in this universe. I just stepped anywhere and I would find life. Oh, it might confuse you, but you could only recognize one kind of life – carbon-based perhaps. Well, life itself is beyond your recognition and an element on your atomic table.
Anyway, it is time for me to pack up. I pretend to be too much in this place. You nor this earth are important to the universe. Like I said, mere anomalies like those are discarded in the final equation anyway. That salvation you seek before sitting on this bench, in front of this statue, I wish you for it to come true. After all, survival is the very essence of the living.
Good day, my friend – “spend what is left for the day has an end.”
He tossed me a coin and it materialized out of thin air just like pure magic and then he vanished right out in thin air like another amazing magic. For a moment while he was taking, I thought he was nuts.
